Day 14: doing what we can

I'm a fan of Stoic philosophy. I'd like to say I am a practitioner, but I'm not that strong. I'm like a Stoic groupie. One of the essential tenets of Stoicism is to accept many things are out of your control, and that trying to control things you cannot control leads to stress and grief. One shouldn't even worry about them.

So today I'm a little stressed out because the treadmill I've been using for the last month broke. It was limping along on a band-aid and a prayer, but today it gave up the ghost. So no meaningful exercise for me today. I'll have to figure out what to do tomorrow.

Breakfast was a lovely onion and cheddar omelet, with coffee.
